In a truly revolutionary move, Farmington and Farmington Hills have decided that they are going to let residents help design a new development. Community engagement is very important as it has been very tough to get millennial’s involved in local government. The PlacePlans project is co sponsored by the University of Michigan and it is something that is being implemented in several different cities. There already have been a over 30 cities that have benefited from this program, and moving forward the state hopes that it will really take off even more. Helping to create a physical structure that you can be literally reach out and touch can be one of the most satisfying things in life. A recent study has actually found that construction workers are the most satisfied with their occupations for this sole reason alone.

Designing Farmington roofing that is going to coincide with this new attitude and lifestyle can be challenging. There are many new materials and unique styles available in roofing materials, but they are very cost prohibitive. We have found that the best way to assist Farmington residents is to provide a quality product at an affordable price in a variety of different colors. When you can plan out a distinctive color scheme using the current structure without making a lot of unnecessary changes, you can help to build a house that has great curb appeal at an attractive price. In the future, we plan on continuing to work with all local cities, both with the residents and the government, and to support these type of initiatives.
